Straight Talk Foundation is proud to celebrate the remarkable achievements of two of our bursary program beneficiaries — Dr. Ogwang Wilson and Dr. Adong Ruth Hope — who graduated yesterday from Makerere University with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine.
Their journey with us began in Senior One, and over the years they have demonstrated unwavering resilience, determination, and commitment. From secondary school through university, they have embodied the spirit of perseverance and the transformative power of education.
This milestone is not only a personal triumph for Dr. Ogwang and Dr. Adong, but also a testament to the impact of sustained support for young people. Their success story reflects the vision of Straight Talk Foundation — to place youth at the center of programming and empower them to achieve their full potential.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Embassy of Ireland and the Irish people for their generous support, which made this journey possible. Their partnership has been instrumental in nurturing dreams and building futures for countless young Ugandans.
As we celebrate these new graduates, we are reminded that investing in youth is investing in the future of our nation. We look forward to seeing Dr. Ogwang and Dr. Adong contribute their skills to Uganda’s veterinary field and inspire the next generation of learners.
Congratulations, Doctors — your story is one of hope, resilience, and success!
