GROW TOGETHER PROJECT
Welthungerhilfe with funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development under the funding title Private Agencies in partnership with Straight Talk Foundation and Kiyita Family Alliance for Development are implementing a three-year program GROW TOGETHER. The project seeks to increase Gender Equality and Economic Empowerment of women and girls as well as improved Menstrual Health and Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights services and products for women and girls in the targeted communities in Karamoja and Teso Sub Regions, working together with the District Local Governments of Moroto and Napak in Karamoja and Katawi & Amuria in Teso.
The overall objective of the Grow Together Project is to see a sustainable and exemplary contribution to improving gender equality in the target regions of Karamoja & Teso with a specific focus on improved livelihoods, increased uptake of quality Menstrual Health, Sexual Reproductive Health Rights, and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment Services and participation of 3,600 women and girls in decision-making processes.
